Eid al-Adha is a religious festival celebrated by Muslims worldwide as a commemoration of Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son Ismael for Allah.
It is one of three Eid festivals that Muslims celebrate.
Eid ul-Adha begins with a short prayer followed by a sermon .
It is also called the bigger Eid because it lasts a day longer than Eid ul-Fitr.
Eid al-Adha is four days long and starts on the 10th day of the month of Dhul Hijja of the lunar Islamic calendar.
This is the day after the pilgrims in Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia by Muslims worldwide, descend from Mount Arafat.
It happens to be approximately 70 days after the end of the month of Ramadan






عيد الأضحى إحتفال ومناسبة دينية يحتفل بها المسلمون حول العالم إحياء لرغبة إبراهين عليه السلام للتضحيه بإبنه إسماعيل عليه السلام لوجه الله
عيد الأضحى هو واحد من ثلاثه أعياد الذي يحتفل به المسلمون
ويسمى أيضا بالعيد الكبير لأنه يستمر يوم إضافي عن عيد الفطر
يستمر عيد الأضحى لأربعه أيام من بداية اليوم العاشر في شهر ذو الحجة في التقويم الإسلامي
في هذا اليوم يكون حجاج بيت الله بمكة قد أدو فريضة الحج بالنزول من جبل عرفات
والمصادفة أن هذا العيد يكون بعد رمضان بـ70 يوم
