DRIVER:Certainly. I was driving home along HarborBonlevard.Iwas just going the to slow down when
Isaw awhit FORD approaching the corner .Iwas sure he was going to wait on the side street until I drove past . I had no idea he was going to shoot out in front of me .
1ST LAWER: In other words , the driver of the white Ford shout out without any warning , is that right?
DRIVER:Exactly . It was completely unexpected.
1ST LAWER:And you had no idea this was going to happen?
DRIVER: NO !NOne whatsoevr!
1ST LAWYER: Thank you .
2LAWYER: HMM.... YOU say you were going to slow down when the accident happen,is that rigth ?
DRIVER: Yes, I was about to slow down .
2LAWYR:I see . I suppose you were going pretty fast.
DRIVER: NO , not at all ! I was going 30 , that is all.
2LAWYER: WELL , why were you going to slow down , then ?suggests to me ,and Iam sure to the court as well ,that you wrer going too fast in the fist place.
DRIVER: NO ! THE reason Iwas going to slow down was very simple . I WAS going to trun at the next corner..
2ND LAWYER:Really?Why?
DRIVER: Because I live there , that is why!I
